Ladies Bell Sleeved Tunic

This relaxed and elegant ladies bell sleeved tunic was designed by us here in Queensland, Australia. It was then manufactured by skilled artisans in their small workshop. The linen/cotton blend is easy to care for, with little need for fuss like ironing. Triple re-enforced anti-tear side slit was created specifically with Kundalini yoga's postures in mind.

Over the years we have received feedback on what Kundalini yoga practitioners found important in what they were wearing. Type of fabric was important. Feel of the fabric likewise. Kundalini yoga is dynamic, so having room to move was another big factor. This ladies bell sleeved tunic has all those qualities in abundance.

Blending cotton with linen presents a thoughtful solution for achieving the sought-after linen aesthetic without the high price tag. This blend also minimises creasing while retaining the renowned breathability of linen. Additionally, the inherent durability of linen ensures that this tunic will stand the test of time. This quality makes it a lasting and reliable garment for your yoga and meditation practices.

This style of tunic is not something you can readily buy in a retail store, unless you're in India. Kundalini Whites was born from the need to supply Kundalini yogis and yoginis with the look and the function we need for our practice. However, this garment is charming enough to wear anywhere, from a yoga class, to a beach picnic, to a white wedding.

Caring for your Cotton and Linen

Wash in cold/warm water using a mild detergent on a delicate cycle. Launder any stains when fresh. If allowed to set, stains may be impossible to remove later.

Avoid bleaching – chlorine bleaches can cause yellowing. Drying in the sun helps retain whiteness.

Rinse completely to remove all soap and detergent. This will help to avoid the formation of 'age spots' caused by oxidation of cellulose (the main component of linen).

Following wash cycle, remove promptly and either line dry, or tumble dry on low till slightly damp. Never tumble dry hot – this damages the linen fibres.

Wrinkles in linen are a natural feature. Iron when damp. If you prefer not to, the fibres will relax some when the item is worn.
