This Kara incorporates three laser engraved Khanda symbols in a beautiful design.
The two single-edged swords (or 'kirpan') on either side of the symbol represent the dual characteristics of human existence. These are given as 'Miri', the temporal nature of life, and 'Piri', the spiritual side of existence. They are crossed at the bottom to indicate that these two characteristics influencing the soul are integrated, not two separate entities.
The double-edged sword ('khanda') symbolises the ability of Truth to cut through the duality of illusion ('maya').
